Organised clean ups are a great way to get your volunteers motivated.

The River Thames is one of the world’s most iconic rivers and home to an abundance of thriving wildlife, including over 100 different species of fish, more than 300,000 over wintering birds and several thousand seals. Regrettably, the last half century has also seen the river become filled with ever increasing quantities of litter.

By registering your organisation, you’ll gain access to:

  • A free group litter-picking foreshore permit;
  • Posting your organisation’s events on the Cleaning the Thames map;
  • Cleaning the Thames promotion via the Port of London social media feeds;
  • The ability to join the Thames Litter Forum.
