Ocean Ledger is bringing together team members, industry partners, and peers from the ocean and insurance sectors on Saturday, 20 September for a river clean-up as part of International Coastal Cleanup® (ICC).
Every day, our work involves discussing coastal morphologic changes, extreme weather events, and strategies to make our coasts more predictable and resilient. It’s only natural that we also take action to protect and restore the River Thames—a waterway that ultimately flows into the sea we strive to safeguard.
Plastic pollution is a growing global concern, and in our vibrant, beautiful city, waste in our waterways and oceans is an issue we can no longer ignore. This clean-up is a small but important step toward healthier rivers, coasts, and seas.
